P&O Cruises announces 2025 Food Hero sailings with special guest appearances from Tom Parker Bowles
P&O Cruises has unveiled its Food Hero sailings for 2025, featuring an exceptional lineup of culinary experts who will elevate the onboard dining and entertainment experience on selected holidays.
Celebrated chefs Marco Pierre White, José Pizarro, Shivi Ramoutar, and Kjartan Skjelde, as well as award-winning wine expert Olly Smith will join a number of sailings to offer culinary events exclusive to P&O Cruises. Additionally, following exceptional guest feedback in 2024, esteemed food critic Tom Parker Bowles will make another two guest appearances alongside the Food Heroes.
Across Arvia, Iona and Britannia guests can look forward to a host of exclusive food and wine activities, including:
- Intimate cooking lessons led by Marco Pierre White in The Cookery Club, Britannia’s fully equipped teaching kitchen
- Live demonstrations and interactive cooking classes, led by the Food Heroes
- Chef’s Table dining experiences, where expertly crafted dishes will be prepared and served by the food icons, with wine pairings curated by Olly Smith
- Intimate Q&A sessions offering insights into the experts’ careers and lifetime of culinary and wine knowledge
- Book signings and opportunities to meet the icons of the food world
Marco Pierre White will offer masterclasses and hosted dinners featuring signature dishes inspired by his legendary career on three Britannia sailings. José Pizarro will bring his passion for authentic Spanish cuisine to life onboard two Arvia sailings. Guests sailing with Shivi Ramoutar on Arvia can enjoy Caribbean-inspired culinary experiences, while Kjartan Skjelde will showcase his innovative Nordic flavours on three itineraries onboard Iona. Olly Smith will join four sailings to host wine tastings that promise to provide education that celebrates exceptional wine across the globe.
Two sailings will feature special guest Tom Parker Bowles, a celebrated author and critic known for his expertise in good eating across the globe. His appearances will include collaborative events with the Food Heroes, providing guests with his unique insights into culinary trends.
The Food Hero experiences will be offered on several P&O Cruises sailings onboard Britannia, Iona, and Arvia.
