A 20-year veteran of the company, Josh assumed his current position in August 2022 after playing a critical role in planning the company’s response to the unprecedented pause in guest operations from the COVID-19 pandemic and then the successful restart. His tenure at Carnival includes previous roles as chief operations officer of Carnival Corporation from June 2020 – July 2022, where he directed major operational functions including global maritime, global ports and destinations, global sourcing, global IT, and global auditing. During this time, he also oversaw Carnival UK, the operating company for P&O Cruises (UK) and Cunard. He previously managed Carnival UK directly, serving as president from July 2017 – 2020.
Josh also served as treasurer for Carnival Corporation from 2007 to 2017 following five years as an attorney in the corporate legal department. In addition to his treasury role, Josh’s responsibilities increased over his career to include oversight of the tax, risk management, and finance, planning & analysis functions.

William (Bill), retired Vice Admiral, is the chief maritime officer for Carnival Corporation & plc and leads global Maritime Operations, which is responsible for driving the company’s commitment to health, environmental compliance, safety, security, and sustainability. Reporting to the CEO, Bill also has oversight of the company’s maritime policy, maritime standards, shipbuilding, training including CSMART, medical, maritime asset strategy, and technical research and development.
Bill brings to the role decades of maritime leadership, including deep experience overseeing large maritime operations, both at sea and in shipyards, and has a strong record of building high-performing teams. Prior to joining the company, Bill had a distinguished career with the U.S. Navy spanning 35 years with extensive experience in safety, engineering, strategic planning, and operational readiness.
He served on five submarines including command of the USS Toledo (SSN 769) and also commanded Submarine Squadron Two from 2001 – 2003. His Washington D.C. assignments include tours in the Attack Submarine Division, Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, Joint Chiefs of Staff directorate for Combating Terrorism, Navy Warfighting Assessments Branch, and as the Executive Assistant to the Vice Chief of Naval Operations.

A native of Hornell, New York, William graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and completed a Master of Business Administration at Marymount University. He earned a Master of Science in National Security Strategy at the National War College in Washington, D.C. and is also a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar 21 Program in International Politics.
Bettina leads the global human resources function for Carnival Corporation & plc and its nine global cruise line brands. In this role, she oversees a workforce of more than 160,000 global employees from 150 countries. Reporting to the CEO, Bettina is ultimately responsible for all human capital, including attracting, retaining, and rewarding talent; leading more collaborative approaches with the operating companies to optimize human resources (HR), as well as enhancing the company’s culture and leading the organization’s Wellness and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts.
Bettina has over 25 years of experience in management and human resources and previously served as chief human resources officer for Carnival Cruise Line, overseeing shoreside and shipboard human resources, shaping and executing workforce planning strategies, and providing key support to the organization during a time of unprecedented challenges.
Among Bettina’s many accomplishments, she was presented the National Women’s Conference Top 100 Women in Business award and under her leadership, the company continues to receive distinguished honors for its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee experience and excellence.

Doreen is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Deering Estate Foundation, Inc., a community-based charitable organization whose mission is to raise public awareness, outreach, understanding and enjoyment of the Deering Estate and to raise funds to support education, research, exhibits, natural conservation and historical restoration and preservation. She is also a member of the 100 Ladies of Deering, a philanthropic group of women dedicated to preserving the Deering Estate, and serves on both the Marketing and Furnishings and Design Committees.
She has served in various leadership roles including President of both Miami Women’s Panhellenic and the Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae chapter, where she currently serves as vice president of finance. Felix is president of AIDA Cruises, the market leader in the German-speaking cruise market. In his role, Felix is responsible for all aspects of AIDA Cruises’ global business and operations, including over 18,000 shipboard and shoreside team members and a fleet of 11 ships. He reports to Josh Weinstein, chief executive officer of Carnival Corporation & plc.
Felix is a proven industry expert and has accompanied the unique growth of AIDA Cruises in various management positions of increasing responsibility for more than 20 years. He has been a visionary leader for AIDA Cruises, driving substantial growth, optimizing overall business operations, ensuring a positive and innovative guest experience, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the brand.
Among Felix’s many accomplishments as president, he has spearheaded numerous environmental initiatives at AIDA Cruises and demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. Under his leadership, the cruise line introduced the world's first cruise ship capable of being powered in port and at sea by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Also, as part of its Green Cruising Strategy, Felix oversees the brand’s investments into new environmental technologies and trials, including the use of biofuels, fuel cells and battery storage systems.
Felix started his career at AIDA Cruises in 1999 with a dual studies program. In the following years, he held a wide variety of positions on board and on shore before assuming responsibility for sales and yield management of AIDA Cruises as senior vice president, sales, yield management and flight operation in 2013.

CARNIVAL AUSTRALIA
Peter serves as the interim leader of P&O Cruises (Australia) and Carnival Australia, which represents leading cruise brands in the Australian and New Zealand market, including Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises (Australia), Princess Cruises and Seabourn. Three of its cruise lines – P&O Cruises (Australia), Princess Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line – are the only global cruise companies to base ships from Australia year-round and account for approximately 70% of the Australian and New Zealand cruise passenger market.
Reporting to Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, Peter also concurrently serves as the senior vice president for guest experience for P&O Cruises (Australia), with responsibility for hotel operations, customer service, onboard revenue, supply chain, port operations and travel services, in addition to managing strategic port development in the region.
Previously, Peter was senior vice president for fleet operations with oversight of shipboard marine and technical functions for the P&O Cruises (Australia) fleet and also managed port and shore operations for the wider group in the region. Prior to moving to Sydney, Peter held the position of fleet technical manager at Carnival UK in Southampton, managing their worldwide fleet.
He brings to the role decades of maritime experience. Peter was first trained as a marine engineer at South Tyneside Maritime College and started his career on cargo ships before making the transition to the cruise industry in 1991. His sea-going career spanned some 17 years sailing in every rank from cadet to chief engineer. He made the move into shore management in 2004 and has held various management and executive roles across the corporation’s global headquarters.

Christine’s “people first” business philosophy and wealth of experience in the travel industry makes her an accessible and relatable leader as Carnival Cruise Line leverages its commitment to delivering safe, fun and memorable vacations to its millions of guests and growing customer base. Since joining Carnival Cruise Line as its first female president, Christine has overseen the introduction of new ships and capacity expansion, including the introduction of the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cruise vessels in North America, as well as ships with the first roller coasters at sea. Under her leadership, Carnival Cruise Line was the first major U.S. brand to return its entire fleet to guest operations after the industry-wide pause related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Christine is a member of the board of directors of Aimbridge Hospitality, the global leader in hotel management services, and Herschend Family Entertainment, the nation’s largest family-owned operator of themed attractions, including Dollywood and Branson’s Silver Dollar City. Paul is president of Carnival UK and president of P&O Cruises (UK). In his consolidated position, Paul assumes all global commercial and operational responsibility for Carnival UK, overseeing both the P&O Cruises (UK) and Cunard brands that serve over 1.5 million guests annually. He reports to Josh Weinstein, chief executive officer of Carnival Corporation & plc.
As a 20-plus-year veteran of the company, Paul brings to the role far-reaching experiences across every commercial department and multiple brands in the company’s portfolio of world-class cruise lines, as well as proven leadership capabilities and a track record of outstanding results. Paul is responsible for the continued development of P&O Cruises, the UK’s market leading cruise line – a role he has held since 2018. This includes the introduction of two Excel class ships that can be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG): Iona, which joined the fleet in May 2021, and Arvia, launched in December 2022. These vessels mark a continued evolution for the company with contemporary innovations, brand partnerships and guest experiences. Paul will also oversee Cunard’s fleet expansion with the delivery of Queen Anne in 2024.
Formerly the managing director for Princess Cruises in the UK and Europe, Paul led commercial operations in the UK and across 16 European offices. He established and developed the UK as Princess Cruises’ largest market outside North America and oversaw initiatives to promote growth across the UK and Europe regions. Mario is President of Costa Cruises and responsible for overseeing the brand globally with the aim of guiding Costa to strengthen its leadership in Europe, South America and Asia, and ensure profitable and sustainable growth in the long term. Mario is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in pricing and revenue management, including a deep understanding of strategic and dynamic pricing techniques, inventory control, forecasting/budgeting processes, models and commercial reporting. He also has an impressive track record and substantial experience in leading strategic project teams.
A veteran with over 20 years of experience in the cruise industry, Mario began his career with Costa Cruises in 1999 when he joined the Costa revenue management unit based in the brand’s Genoa headquarters, which he brought to excellence over the years. In 2017, he was named president of Costa Asia, where he demonstrated great leadership capabilities, promoting important innovations in Costa’s local business.

As president, Beth oversees all aspects of Holland America Line’s business including its fleet of 11 ships that visit over 450 ports in more than 110 countries and territories around the world. She also has executive responsibility for the corporation’s ultra-luxury Seabourn cruise line. She reports to Josh Weinstein, chief executive officer of Carnival Corporation & plc.
Previously, Beth served for six years as senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Holland America Line where she directed revenue management, deployment, product marketing, pricing and planning for Alaska Land+Sea Journeys, and integrated marketing for the cruise line. During this time, she also took on increasing commercial responsibilities, including Holland America Line’s global sales, customer service and e-commerce, as well as commercial activities for the company’s ultra-luxury Seabourn brand. She previously held various marketing roles in the Pacific Northwest.
A 20-year veteran of Holland America Line, Beth began her career at the cruise line in 2002 in public relations and progressed through numerous promotions since that time. Among Beth’s many accomplishments, she spearheaded the deployment and rollout of an advanced yield optimization and demand analytics (YODA) system that dynamically generates millions of weekly booking demand recommendations to optimize revenue and inventory across the company. She also helped further define Holland America Line’s market of prospective high-value, high-affinity guests, enabling the cruise line to drive incremental customer demand through a variety of high-profile collaborations, entertainment offerings and immersive experiences with organizations such as Top Chef, Audible and Wheel of Fortune, among others.

Previously, Gus served as president of Holland America Line, where he led the cruise line’s successful return to full fleet operations following the industry-wide pause in 2020, including the launch of its newest ship, Rotterdam VII. His strategy to lean into demand for longer cruises included the creation of a new category, Legendary Voyages, taking guests on regionally immersive journeys from 28-59 days.
