Transaction In Own Shares

MIAMI (6 September 2007) -- –In accordance with Carnival Corporation & plc's (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) previously announced share buy-back programme, Carnival Corporation & plc announces that on 5 September 2007 Carnival Investments Limited, Carnival Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, purchased 100,000 of ordinary shares in Carnival plc at an average price of £22.2868 per share. The highest price paid was £22.37 per share and the lowest price paid was £22.24 per share. This notification relates to disclosures made in accordance with Financial Services Authority Listing Rule 12.4.6R.
