P&O Cruises unveils summer 2026 collection with new sailings to Rome and opportunities to witness the solar eclipse
P&O Cruises reveals the new series of summer 2026 holidays, including once-in-a-lifetime event sailings and new itineraries, alongside introductory offers. Holidays booked by June 4, 2024 and departing between March 20, 2026 and October 31, 2026 will include:

New and returning ports of call
- Arvia – 14-night holidays onboard Arvia will offer two unique Western Mediterranean itineraries, each with six different ports of call. For the first time, Arvia will sail to Rome (Civitavecchia) for five sailings, offering guests the option to tour the sights of the Eternal City. Prices start from £1,149 per person. (K608)
- Britannia – the P&O Cruises flagship makes maiden calls into nine different ports in Summer ’26, including Corfu (Greece), Aarhus (Denmark) and three Icelandic ports. Prices from £1,399 per person (B620)
- Aurora - guest favourites, the 21-night Central Mediterranean and 24-night Eastern Mediterranean cruises, feature refreshed itineraries, with the return of La Goulette, (Tunisia) and Athens (Piraeus), offering the opportunity to delve into Ancient History. - Aurora - guests of P&O Cruises can sail back to Istanbul for the first time since 2015, with an overnight call on Aurora’s cruise departing Southampton on August 19, 2026. Prices start from £2,249 per person (R614)
Special Event cruises
- Ventura – a unique 14-night Atlantic Coast cruise presents the potential to witness a total solar eclipse, as the ship will call into the Spanish city of El Ferrol, which sits within the path of totality. Prices start from £1,499 per person (N619)
- Arcadia - guests also have the chance to experience the once-in-a-lifetime natural phenomenon on the Iceland & British Isles cruise from Southampton on August 5, 2026, which calls into Isafjördur, Northwest Iceland (weather permitting). Prices start from £1,840 per person (J610)
- Arcadia – the same cruise on Arcadia includes an overnight stay in Greenock as the sailing aligns with the Edinburgh Tattoo, an iconic spectacle celebrating British military and Scottish heritage.
- Aurora - heading north on October 20, 2026, a late stay in Tromsø (Norway) and an overnight in Bodø (Norway) offers potential opportunity to chase the Northern Lights. Prices start from £1,249 per person (R618)

- Britannia - for the first time, the 21-night Central Mediterranean holiday departing Southampton on June 5, 2026, offers a Croatia-intensive itinerary with calls into Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar, as well as four Mediterranean islands: Sardinia, Corfu, Malta and Mallorca. - Britannia – another first for the flagship with a brand new 14-night immersive Iceland cruise, with two full days in Reykjavik, plus calls to Akureyri and Isafjordur. Prices start from £1,499 per person (B616)

- For those looking for a shorter sunny getaway, Arvia and Iona will each feature four new seven-night Southern Mediterranean sailings, calling into Bilbao, La Coruna, Vigo and Cherbourg, including five sailings in the school holidays. Prices start from £649 per person (G611)
- There will be more than 20 seven-night Mediterranean holidays departing Southampton throughout the season across most of the fleet.
- Iona – seven-night Norwegian Fjords itineraries will be running throughout the season, including eight sailings in the school holidays for opportunities for families to adventure together. Prices start from £629 per person (G610)
More overnights and late calls
- Britannia - offers evening departures in seven different ports of call throughout the summer season, including Ibiza (Spain), Cagliari (Sardinia), Copenhagen (Denmark)
- Multiple itineraries on Iona, Britannia and Ventura offer late departures from Tenerife, taking advantage of the late evening sun
- Azura – overnight stays in Valletta (Malta) feature on more than 10 of Azura’s holidays, with seven and 14-night itinerary options. Prices start from £779 per person (A616)
- Arcadia – the epic 30-night Canada and New England cruise from Southampton on September 2, 2026, offers overnight stops in the charming province of Quebec (Canada), as well as the cities of Boston and New York. Prices start from £3,899 per person (J612)
Fly-cruise options to suit every guest
- Azura - continuing to operate fly-cruise options in 2026, a mixture of Western, Central and Eastern Mediterranean itineraries will depart from Malta every Thursday, with options for both seven- and 14-night holidays.
