Current Report on Form 8-K

MIAMI (January 23, 2008) - Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) announce that its joint current report on Form 8-K was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on January 22, 2008 and a copy was submitted to the UK Listing Authority regarding the adoption of the Carnival Corporation & plc Management Incentive Plan and amendments to agreements with certain executive directors changing the form of future equity awards from options to restricted shares or restricted share units.
