CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE ADDS MORE 2026/27 SAILINGS FROM MIAMI TO THE BAHAMAS AND CARIBBEAN

Carnival Magic and Carnival Sunrise Cruise Schedules Extended 
from PortMiami, Providing More Options from the ‘Cruise Capital of the World’

MIAMI, Oct. 8, 2024 – Carnival Cruise Line is expanding the schedules of Carnival Magic and Carnival Sunrise from PortMiami, giving guests more options to book future cruise vacations throughout 2026 and into early 2027. Both ships will offer a diverse array of sailings connecting Miami with popular destinations across The Bahamas, including Carnival’s upcoming exclusive destination, Celebration Key, as well as other popular ports of call in the eastern, western, and southern Caribbean. “These sailings build on our strong deployment plan from the Cruise Capital of the World for 2026/27,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival. “Year-round from PortMiami, our guests have an incredibly diverse range of itineraries to choose from as they plan their next fun and memorable cruise vacation.”

Carnival Magic will sail a variety of itineraries from PortMiami and will continue year-round service from the port with both six- and eight-day cruise options. Many of the ship’s itineraries will visit Celebration Key, which will be the premier exclusive cruise destination on the island of Grand Bahama. Six-day Eastern Caribbean cruises depart on Sundays and include visits to ports like Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Celebration Key or Half Moon Cay, a private destination set for expansion. The highly rated destination known for relaxing, beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters will be enhanced to include an expanded beach, dining and beverage experiences along with a pier that will allow Carnival ships to dock. Six-day Western Caribbean cruises feature stops in Montego Bay and Grand Cayman, as well as Celebration Key. For those seeking more time to soak up the sun, eight-day Southern Caribbean itineraries explore Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, while eight-day Eastern Caribbean routes visit ports such as San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Half Moon Cay.

For guests looking for four- and five-day cruises, Carnival Sunrise provides a variety of options from PortMiami. Its itineraries focus on some of the most sought-after destinations in The Bahamas and the Caribbean, including Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay. Four-day cruises offer the ideal long weekend escape, typically departing on Thursdays and including stops at Half Moon Cay, Princess Cays, Celebration Key or Nassau. Additionally, the ship will sail various five- and one six-day itineraries, with select sailings featuring destinations like Grand Turk, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios.

Already open for reservations from Port Miami in 2026/27 are Carnival Celebration and Carnival Horizon. Carnival’s newest and most innovative ship from Miami, Carnival Celebration, will offer a variety of seven-day cruises exploring both the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with a range of departure dates available through spring 2027. Guests can choose from a diverse selection of itineraries, including visits to Celebration Key and popular destinations like Nassau and Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Cozumel, Mahogany Bay, St. Thomas and San Juan.

Carnival Horizon offerings include a special 13-day Carnival Journeys sailing from Barcelona to Miami on June 15, 2026, and features visits to Alicante and Malaga, Spain; Gibraltar; as well as a visit to Celebration Key after transiting the Atlantic Ocean. From PortMiami, the ship will sail mostly six- and eight-day cruises exploring vibrant destinations across the Caribbean. Six-day Western Caribbean itineraries, departing on Sundays, include stops at Celebration Key, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay or Ocho Rios. Eight-day Southern Caribbean options, departing on Saturdays, feature stops in Aruba, Curaçao, and either Bonaire, Amber Cove, or Celebration Key.
